Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit a Finance Director.
Location: Bath (Hybrid)
Salary: £95,000 – £98,000 per annum
Role Type: Permanent, full-time
This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Director. You will provide strategic commercial leadership, actively contributing to innovation, continuous improvement, and cost-efficiency across the organisation. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead on opportunity assessments, business case development, and the tracking of benefits realisation.
You will be responsible for supporting the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic commercial and financial leadership as part of the Senior Management Team
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis
- Oversee financial governance, compliance, and risk management
- Develop business cases and track the delivery of financial benefits
- Manage treasury, capital investment, and cash flow forecasting
- Lead external and internal audit processes
- Oversee tax compliance, payroll, and procurement controls
- Drive efficiency programmes and cost-saving initiatives
- Lead financial reporting, including statutory accounts and board reports
- Manage business intelligence and clinical coding functions
- Support contract management and pricing strategies
- Engage with key stakeholders and represent the organisation at system level
- Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and sustainability
