The role of Finance Director will provide leadership within a new business unit with the aim of driving financial and operational excellence. It will play a key part in financial management with an active role in investment decisions.
The Role:
- Develop and drive financial strategy to support business growth
- Lead investment appraisal and financing decisions; chair the Investment Committee
- Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, risk, and internal controls
- Deliver clear financial insights to guide decision-making at board level
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing finance team
- Support integration of new acquisitions and partnerships
Requirements:
- Extensive senior finance experience in energy, infrastructure, or complex asset-heavy sectors
- Strong background in capital investment, M&A, valuations, and financial planning
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide strategy
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial mindset and experience navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments
- High integrity and alignment with values such as ownership, collaboration, and accountability
