Finance Manager

I’m working with a global property organisation to recruit a Finance Manager to join their Aberdeen-based finance team. This is a commercially focused role, partnering closely with operational teams to provide financial insight, robust reporting, and control across a large, high-value contract.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the business and adding real value beyond the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the finance lead for a large, complex client contract
• Produce and review monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Business partner with operational and non-finance stakeholders
• Support commercial decision-making and contract performance
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance
• Assist with audits, contract reviews, and client-facing reporting
• Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in a management accounting / contract finance role
• Background in a contract-led environment (FM, property, construction, engineering, or similar)

Contract Details

• Permanent role
• Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
• Hybrid working
