The role:
Joining the company as a key member of the senior leadership team during this exciting period of growth and business transformation, the Head of Finance will report directly to the Managing Director. You will have full responsibility for overseeing and leading the end-to-end financial functions. You will also work closely with the senior management team to ensure effective financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Job Responsibilities
:● Take management responsibility for the full Finance function in the UK and European operations (France and The Netherlands), including ownership of Financial, Cash, Treasury and Currency control mechanisms and reporting
.● Manage and oversee the financial operations including Management Accounting, Purchase Ledger, Invoicing, Credit Control and Payroll (the last in conjunction with HR)
.● Continuously review, improve, and drive the implementation of new systems, processes and policies that enable the business to operate more effectively and efficiently across the Finance department
.● Ensure accurate financial data and maintain data integrity

Required:· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are highly d
esirable.· Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or a similar role, in the wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing in
dustries.· Advanced knowledge of Microso
ft Excel.· Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI i
s a plus.· Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and experience working with multi-currency envi
ronments.· Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requ
