What You'll Be Doing

• Using Workiva to prepare and review our annual and quarterly financial statements
• Ensuring that the Group and Company's financial statements comply with all relevant requirements and best practises
• Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process — both via automation and development of internal control over financial reporting
• Developing the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring that they're up to date and in compliance with IFRS
• Providing advisory support from a financial reporting and technical accounting perspective for the launch of new products, expansion initiatives, and corporate restructuring activities
• Supporting the ongoing development of our technical accounting & financial reporting policies, processes, and controls to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner
• Leading the external audit process
  
  

What You'll Need

• Designated accountant (e.g., ACA, CPA) with a relevant degree from a top university
• 5+ years of post-qualified experience in a senior accounting or finance role (e.g., controllership function, internal accounting, reporting, assurance, etc.)
• Advanced experience applying IFRS, technical accounting, and financial reporting in a banking or fintech environment
• Experience with reporting requirements for listed entities (preferably SEC-related)
• 4+ years of people leadership experience
• Excellent organisational skills to plan and organise work efficiently
• A structural and logical approach to solving problems
• Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
• Great motivation and focus on delivery

• Good knowledge on SQL and/or Python
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Workiva
• IPO experience
