Finance Manager - 3 month FTC - £55k - Hybrid (London) - Early January Start

Overview

A broad Finance Manager role within a multi-site, service-led organisation. This position partners closely with operational leaders to ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting and proactive commercial support. The post requires someone confident managing end-to-end finance processes while building effective working relationships across both finance and non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver month end close, payroll oversight and all core financial accounting activities to a high standard.
• Provide day to day guidance to administrators on billing, invoicing and related queries.
• Manage multiple profit and loss accounts, identifying risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring clear insight and robust challenge.
• Produce timely management accounts with high quality analysis.
• Work with budget holders to ensure cost discipline and alignment to agreed plans.
• Strengthen financial controls, improve process efficiency and support continuous improvement across the wider finance function.
• Contribute to performance reporting and governance requirements.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand local market dynamics and support growth ambitions.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships, ensuring a consistent and professional service experience.

• Support the wider finance team in delivering a reliable and responsive service to stakeholders.

• Ensure resourcing and workflow within the finance function remain effective.

Experience

• Exposure to service-driven operations is advantageous.
