Client Overview

Our client is a leading global private capital and investment advisory organisation, operating across Europe, Asia and the US through an extensive international office network. The firm manages capital on behalf of a broad institutional investor base, including pension funds, financial institutions and sovereign investors. It is widely recognised for its ability to deploy significant cross-border resources efficiently to acquire and scale high-quality businesses globally.

The Opportunity

JSS Search is partnering with this client to appoint a finance professional into a role within the Group Finance function. The position will be responsible for designing, building and delivering consistent, high-quality financial reporting and management information for three core investment platforms, as well as supporting reporting requirements for the firm’s senior operational leadership committee.

This is a high-profile role with regular exposure to senior stakeholders and investment leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting for multiple investment boards.

Delivery of platform-level budgets, forecasts, detailed cost reporting, variance analysis and longer-term financial projections.

Partnering with Fund Administration, Portfolio Monitoring and HR teams to produce consistent platform-level reporting.

Collaborating with regional finance teams, including Asia and secondary investment platforms, to ensure reporting consistency across the organisation.

Supporting the Global Head of Finance in enhancing cost reporting and management information for the firm’s senior operational committee.

Working closely with Group Finance colleagues to ensure alignment between platform-level reporting and consolidated financials.

Line management responsibility for one direct report (Accountant level).

Ad hoc analytical and project work requested by senior investment stakeholders.

Preparation and delivery of presentations to investment boards as required.

Skills & Attributes

ACA qualified with 1st time passes and excellent academic record
Experience with listed Plcs, complex Group businesses
FP&A experience desirable
Proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently.

Confident and articulate, with the ability to engage directly with senior board-level stakeholders.

Highly organised, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong attention to detail.

Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as PowerPoint, Visio or Power BI is beneficial.
