Description

A leading UK Consultancy are looking for a Finance & Procurement Service Lead to design and deliver a new shared service for a major transformation programme. You’ll sit at the heart of service design, transition and early-life operation for Finance & Procurement, built around a new ERP platform and a multi-channel service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design of Finance & Procurement shared services, including service blueprints and operating models.
Run workshops with client and third-party SMEs to shape processes, resolve design issues and secure stakeholder buy-in.
Ensure services meet agreed KPIs, SLAs and user experience standards, and align with ERP capabilities (minimising bespoke build).
Identify and manage financial and operational risks across delivery, operations and supplier performance.
Support testing, training, dress rehearsals and cutover activities, including phased transition and hypercare.
Troubleshoot service issues during early operational rollout and support service teams through stabilisation.

Key Skills & Experience

Extensive experience leading sizeable operational teams in an outsourcing / BPO / shared service environment.
Strong background in Finance & Procurement service design and operating model development.
Proven track record on large, multi-party implementation or transformation programmes (ERP experience highly beneficial – Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, D365 etc.).
Excellent client-facing skills: stakeholder management, workshops, presentations and conflict resolution.
Experience of TUPE / workforce transfer, engagement and change management.
Strong understanding of service transition, testing strategies and hypercare support.

Nice to have: UX-led service design, Government / public sector experience, accessibility (GDS / WCAG) awareness.
