Finance Systems Manager

Location: UK (Hybrid / Flexible)

Type: Full-Time

Henderson Drake is supporting the hire of a Finance Systems Manager for a large, complex organisation with a multi-system finance landscape. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the systems, improving how finance teams work day to day, and acting as the bridge between finance, technology, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for finance systems support, issue resolution, and user guidance
Translate business requirements into system enhancements and configuration changes
Lead incident management, prioritisation, and communication across finance and IT teams
Deliver user training, create clear documentation, and promote best practice system usage
Work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commercial teams on system initiatives
Review and optimise finance platforms covering ERP, close, FP&A, expenses, and reporting tools

Requirement:

Strong experience supporting and enhancing finance systems in a complex organisation
Hands-on ERP experience, including finance modules and system configuration
Exposure to finance tools across close, FP&A, expenses, and reporting
Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance processes
Comfortable working with data, including SQL or similar querying tools
Experience using BI or reporting platforms to support finance insight
