Financial Accountant 3-6 Month Contract

Financial Accountant | 3-6 Months | London | Hybrid | Listed Global Financial Services | £600-700 p/d umbrella

A global financial services organisation is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant for a 3–6 month contract to support month-end, reporting, and financial control activities during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-end close, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany, and GL reconciliations
• Fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and disposals
• Support tax entries (e.g. sales and corporate tax)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards
• Collaborate with procurement and FP&A teams
• Provide audit support and financial insights as needed

Ideal Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• Strong financial control and fixed asset experience in large/global businesses
• Comfortable with hands-on work and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with Oracle, Workday, or similar systems is a plus
• Audit or Big Four background preferred
