Financial Accountant

Location: Grimsby

Working Hours: Monday -Friday 8:30AM-5PM

Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. The site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we couldn't do it without our team.

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will work within a team of four and you will work closely with our Finance Manager contributing to month-end activities, audits, budgeting, and wider financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support the month-end process, including management of assigned cost centres
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and related financial requests
Assist with Group finance audits, ensuring accurate and timely information
Manage debt position and review claims to ensure records are kept up to date
Support capex projects, ensuring correct documentation and accurate system updates

Key Skills/Qualifications

AAT qualifications or above
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
