JSS are partnered with a global bank where they are growing extensively and need additional support to assist with month-end, year-end, technical reporting and improvement of financial controls.

There are TWO contract opportunities within this reporting team so apply now if you are immediately available and looking for your next position.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team with the month-end close process, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Coordinate month and year-end close activities, including audit preparation and delivery of statutory accounts.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to the development of financial policies.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., PRA, FCA submissions).
• Identify and implement improvements to the financial reporting process and control environment.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives.

Personal Profile:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CAANZ, or CPA qualified.
• Minimum 2 years' in financial reporting, ideally within large banks or FinTech's.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UKGAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with audit processes and regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP).
