Our client, a global real estate investment manager is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant. This is a hands-on role taking responsibility of their full cycle of accounting for a number of entities as well as asset management. The successful candidate will be an AAT qualified accountant with previous experience working in Financial Accounting.

Description

The responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing the month-end and quarterly close
• Preparing management accounts for board reporting and preparing business plans
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Oversight of bank balances as well as preparation of cash flow
• Producing compliance documentation and assist with due diligence
• Asset Management reports and review

Skills

The skills of the Financial Accountant role include, but are not limited to:

• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in Financial Accounting
• Preference for real estate or asset management backgrounds
• Strong Excel and experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion (HFM) or Yardi is desirable
• Proactive, adaptable, and confident working independently in a fast-paced environment with a strong eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communications across multiple stakeholders
