Financial Accountant (PQ)

Oliver James are currently working with one of our insurance clients in Leeds who are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis due to growth of the business. This position would be great for a candidate who has an interest in the insurance industry, part way through their professional qualification studies or looking to start their qualification (funded by the client).

To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates who;

• Are a university graduate and have since spent a minimum of 2 years in work experience within a finance position.
• Want to continue/complete a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) which will be fully funded by our client.
• Has great attention to detail, organisation skills and can demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel skills.

The successful candidate will get involved in;

• Working with the finance function on a broad range of operational duties (reviewing journals, preparing balance sheets and data analysis).
• Reviewing balance sheet analysis.
• Opportunity to work on improvements of existing processes.
• Other duties to support the finance function.
