JSS are supporting a UK-based regulated bank through a period of transformation and are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) to join the Finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Please note the role is based 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home either on a Monday or Friday
Key Highlights:
• Broad role covering Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Treasury exposure
• Responsibility for month-end close, management accounts, and MI for senior committees
• Exposure to liquidity, capital, and daily regulatory reporting (training provided)
• Hands-on involvement with GL integrity, balance sheet control, and reconciliations
• Support for statutory accounts, audit, VAT, and Corporation Tax
• Opportunity to contribute during a finance systems transformation (new GL)
• Regular interaction with CFO, Executive, and Non-Executive stakeholders
• Ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented accountant with banking or FS experience
• Strong Excel skills required; Oracle experience beneficial but not essential
