Financial Controller

Financial Controller | London - hybrid (in office 3 days a week) | £65 000 - £70 000

A fast-scaling global beauty e-commerce company used by millions of shoppers is looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Financial Controller to head up and manage its finance function.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role in a rapidly growing digital business where finance plays a central role in shaping strategy, profitability and expansion.

You’ll lead the entire finance function and work closely with the Founder and senior leadership team to drive smarter decision-making, growth and financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of day-to-day finance operations
• Producing monthly management accounts and performance reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Payroll oversight and treasury management
• Managing supplier payments and cash flow
• Leading the annual audit and liaising with external accountants
• Improving financial systems, controls and processes
• Acting as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or equivalent
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace businesses (can be clients you worked with during practice)
• Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping and financial systems
• Confidence working closely with founders and senior leaders
• The ability to manage both hands-on finance work and strategic planning
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
