Financial Controller

Finance Controller | PE backed Technology | Salary £60,000 - £80,000 + bonus and benefits.

I am currently partnering with a high growth PE backed SaaS business who are looking for a driven and hungry Financial Controller to come and join the team and play a pivotal role in thier growth. For this role you will be comfortable working with senior leaders across finance and non-finance stakeholders.

As Financial Controller, you will sit at the intersection of data and strategy. You will ensure our financial engine is running smoothly while providing the insights necessary to drive global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale the finance team by hiring, mentoring, and implementing robust processes and systems.
• Act as a key advisor to the leadership team, translating complex data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Own the reporting of MRR/ARR, churn, CAC, and LTV to guide our commercial strategy.
• Manage month-end processes, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts to ensure we are optimised for hyper-growth.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA (preferably Big 4 or Top 10 background).
• Deep understanding of subscription-based revenue models and KPIs.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• You enjoy moving from "doing" to "leading" and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves while the team is small.
• Experience with modern ERPs (NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct) and automation tools.
