Financial Controller (German Speaking)

Location: South West London (Hybrid)

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + excellent benefits package

We are partnering with a well-known, market-leading blue-chip household brand to recruit a German-speaking Financial Controller for a high-profile role within their international finance team.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for end-to-end financial control for the German entity/entities, ensuring robust financial reporting, compliance, and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Statutory reporting and compliance for the German business
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Acting as a key finance partner to local and regional stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong financial control background within a complex or multinational environment
• Solid knowledge of statutory reporting and compliance
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
