£80,000 - £95,000 (depending on experience) + bonus

The Opportunity

This is a newly created Financial Controller role within the management company behind one of Central London's most high-profile, mixed-use developments. As the business builds out its own internal finance capabilities, you'll take full ownership of the finance controls environment and play a key role in the systems transformation. The role offers significant autonomy, visibility within senior leadership and the chance to shape the structure, processes, and systems that will underpin a growing a organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Risk & Controls Ownership - Lead the design and implementation of the internal controls framework
• Finance System Implementation - Support the rollout of a new finance system, working closely with a dedicated transformation team
• Audit & Governance Reporting - Establish reporting structures to support the audit and risk committee and contribute to board-level governance
• Project and transaction support - Provide financial control across ongoing development activity and complex refinancing
• Financial controls - Develop robust control processes tailored to a newly independent management entity

About you

• ACA, CA or ACCA Qualified
• Experience within an industry role, ideally following an audit background
• Experience within the real estate, property or infrastructure sector
• Strong track record in internal controls, risk and audit
• Exposure to a finance transformation or system implementation is desirable
• Hands-on and collaborative approach
• Comfortable in a fast-moving and change-driven environment
• Able to work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Operations and external partners
