Role: Financial Controller

Salary: £110,000-£130,000 plus good bonus

A leading Global Hedge Fund are looking to hire a Financial Controller in a broad finance position that will combine financial reporting, internal management information and strategic initiatives.

The strategic initiatives aspect of this role is what makes the position stand out from others - you will work on technology change projects, integrate new acquisitions from a systems and finance perspective and partner with multiple functions and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversee the monthly close for European entities
Produce monthly financial analysis and present to senior management
Prepare and review financial statements
Set up new entities
Co-ordinate the audit
Prepare and review regulatory reporting
Work on new business and strategic initiatives
Enhance and automate processes and controls and support transformation projects

They are looking for someone with at least 5 -10 years post qualified experience working in a Financial Services business.
