Financial Controller - London
Live shows make us feel good. They're a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dance floor. We're on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often – and this is where you come in.
We're looking for a newly qualified Financial Controller to join our Finance team, where you'll be delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
At DICE, you'll be part of the company that's redefining live entertainment. It's a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work that you're proud of.
About the role
You'll work closely with our Senior Financial Controller – UK & ROW, supporting multiple territories and ensuring robust financial processes. From managing compliance and regulatory submissions to supporting partner agreement renewals and year-end audits, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll also document and improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and help resolve technical accounting questions across the Group.
You'll be
- Own the full Trial Balance for your territories.
- Deliver month-end and year-end closes — accurate, on time, every time.
- Keep the Group balance sheet in top shape with daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and build a watertight file from cross-team inputs.
- Approve coding, classifications, and transactions in NetSuite.
- Review and approve spend — from expenses to travel — and keep it policy compliant.
- Influence better ways of working across finance and the wider business.
You are
- Passionate, humble and talented.
- A fan of music and culture.
- Responsible, proactive, and curious.
- A calm multi-tasker in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- A strategic thinker who takes ownership of their work.
- A true team player who works collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and has a highly adaptable, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
You need
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent financial accounting qualification.
- Strong technical accounting skills, ideally from practice, to provide guidance on accounting for transactions.
- Precision and diligence with systems and processes.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of international tax regimes (bonus).
