Are you looking for a dynamic role requiring agility, proactivity and a detail orientated mindset? If so then this is the role for you. As part of the AXA UK Financial Crime Team, you'll support the AXA UK Senior Financial Crime Manager in providing second line financial crime compliance support to AXA UK, AXA Insurance and AXA Health, all as part of the transversal Regulatory and Compliance function.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting the development and implementation of our Financial Crime framework, covering key financial crime compliance pillars of Sanctions, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing.

You'll play a vital role in completing third party due diligence checks, reviewing sanctions screening matches, investigations and internal/external escalations. Additionally, you will support the preparation of reporting for UK regulators, Boards and local committees. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across all AXA UK entities. Your expertise will help ensure adherence to policies, enhance controls and support ongoing due diligence processes related to Anti-Bribery, Sanctions, and AML functions.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) towards the end of 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the UK Senior Financial Crime Manager by assisting with the maintenance, implementation and development of the Financial Crime framework within the AXA UK group. Covering Anti–Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Sanctions
  • Performing the review of the matches arising from AXA’s sanction screening and participate in Sanctions Alerts management
  • Supporting the UK Senior Financial Crime Manager in the preparation of reporting provided to UK, Group, local Boards and Committees and Regulators
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all entities within the AXA UK group first line of defence
  • Undertaking robust due diligence processes, oversight and ongoing reviews of Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions and AML/POCA related functions.
  • Participating in Financial Crime related projects and initiatives
  • Assisting and supporting the UK Senior Financial Crime manager to co-ordinate and undertake any disclosures to law enforcement agencies
  • Conducting Anti bribery Due Diligence on third parties in line with policy requirements
