Interim Finance Integration Director

Overview:
Stanton House is exclusively recruiting an Interim Finance Integration Director to lead a post-acquisition integration project for a PE-backed technology group executing a buy-and-build strategy. This role is critical to delivering the Group’s strategic objectives by integrating newly acquired businesses and driving operational, commercial, and technology synergies across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Acquisition Integration Leadership: Leading integration efforts to ensure seamless onboarding, operational stability, and early value realisation following each acquisition.
- Integration Playbook Development: Designing and rolling out a scalable, repeatable integration playbook to accelerate future acquisitions and reduce time-to-value.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Working closely with founders and senior leadership of acquired companies to align operational processes, systems, and reporting standards.
- Group Operating Model & Governance: Driving the design and implementation of a scalable Group-wide operating model, including governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration structures to support long-term growth and exit planning.
- Target Operating Model (TOM): Developing and embedding a scalable TOM to support centralisation efforts and enable efficient long-term integration across the Group.
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong technical finance background and commercial acumen.
- Proven Integration Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading finance integration initiatives within a buy-and-build environment, ideally in a PE-backed business.
- Post-Acquisition Expertise: Hands-on experience managing the first 100–120 days post-acquisition, including onboarding, stabilisation, and value realisation.
- Operating Model Design: Experience in designing and implementing scalable Group Operating Models and Target Operating Models (TOMs) to support centralisation and growth.
- Playbook Development: Track record of developing or implementing structured integration playbooks to support repeatable M&A activity.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, founders, and cross-functional teams.
