The Company

Investigo are partnering with a specialist international bank headquartered in London, with a strong footprint in emerging markets and a focus on trade finance, treasury, and correspondent banking.

The Role

This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is either studying toward a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or planning to do so, and looking to grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment. This is a permanent position that offers hybrid working - 3 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting
• Support the development of internal reporting tools and dashboards
• Prepare internal documents and periodic management reports
• Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights
• Assist in the preparation of board and leadership packs
• Support the purchase-to-pay process, including invoice processing and supplier payments
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure financial controls and reporting frameworks are followed
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business on finance-related matters

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and highly organised
• Experience in a similar core accounting role (e.g. accruals, prepayments, reconciliations)
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial systems such as Temenos (T24) is a plus
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
• Effective communicator who can build positive relationships with stakeholders
• Prior experience in financial services or a regulated environment is advantageous
