Are you a commercially minded finance leader who thrives on turning numbers into insight and strategy? Harbro Group is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial performance and future growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be accountable for the development, control, and delivery of high-quality management information, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis across the Harbro Group. You’ll work closely with the CFO, senior leaders, and Revenue Stream Directors, acting as a trusted business partner while leading and developing a small, high-potential team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts, MI packs, budgets, and forecasts across multiple revenue streams
Partner with Revenue Stream Directors/Heads in monthly P&L reviews, providing deep insight into sales, margins, costs, and profitability

Provide strategic financial insight and recommendations to enhance performance and identify new business opportunities

Manage and develop financial KPIs, ensuring accountability across departments

Support financial planning for new projects, investments, and acquisitions

Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance

Lead, mentor, and develop a team (primarily graduates), embedding a high-performance culture

Champion continuous improvement, driving smarter processes and better ways of working

About You

You’ll be a confident, proactive finance professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence at senior level.

Essential experience and skills:

5+ years’ experience in progressively responsible financial / analytical leadership roles
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail
High integrity, sound judgement, and the confidence to make and implement key recommendations
Strong IT capability with a keen interest in new technologies
