FP&A Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Investigo is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed business in Milton Keynes in their search for a commercially minded FP&A Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a pivotal role in driving financial planning, forecasting accuracy, and insight-led decision-making across the business.
We're seeking a finance professional who excels in modelling and reporting, with a hands-on approach to cash forecasting and a proven ability to prepare high-quality board materials. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can add real value through data-led insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the company-wide financial forecasting process, including cash flow forecasts, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Lead the preparation of the monthly Board Pack, including high-quality commentary and variance analysis for executive review.
- Deliver clear and actionable reporting and performance analysis at group, divisional, and regional levels, highlighting key trends and business drivers.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight and ensure alignment between financial outcomes and operational strategy.
- Continuously enhance FP&A processes and reporting capabilities to improve forecasting accuracy, cost control, and decision support.
- Support M&A analysis and strategic projects by providing detailed financial evaluation and modelling.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong post-qualification FP&A experience.
- Proven track record of financial modelling, forecasting, and board-level reporting in a fast-paced or PE-backed environment.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills; able to present financial data in a clear, commercially relevant way.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
