Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

I’m partnering with a leading organisation in Ely who are looking for a commercially astute finance professional with a passion for FP&A and business partnering.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insights and strategic analysis that will directly influence business performance. This is a hands-on role where you'll dive into data, develop key metrics, and provide robust reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support commercial and strategic decisions
• Lead month-end reporting and provide detailed commentary and board-level insights
• Track and optimise KPIs to monitor business performance
• Support cross-functional teams with financial modelling and project analysis
• Drive continuous improvement through process automation and system enhancements
• Build strong working relationships at all levels

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE
• Proven FP&A experience
• A confident and approachable personality, with strong interpersonal skills
• Sharp judgement and an ability to assess character effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to driving business improvements

You will need to spend the first few months working in the office everyday, this is to ensure you can really get to know the business, the key stakeholders and start to build strong relationships through business partnering. A hybrid working arrangement can be reviewed and considered after this initial 3 month period.
