Description

I have partnered with a leading financial services organisation to hire a Financial Reporting Accountant with strong accounts preparation experience from professional services (mid to small tier practice).

My client needs someone on an immediate or reduced notice period (1 month max) as they are looking for a December of January start date.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver annual financial statements for EMEA entities

• Prepare & review accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP

• Support year-end & interim audits and liaise with auditors

• Draft technical papers to support accounting judgements

• Produce clear, high-quality reports for senior management

• Contribute to system and process improvements across Finance

Please only apply if you have the following:

• Finalist or newly qualified with (0-2 years PQE) ACA / ACCA / CA qualified

• Audit background or from a Financial Services institution

• MUST HAVE Financial statement or stat accounts preparation

• Strong technical grounding in IFRS & UK GAAP

• Solid accounts prep background from practice (essential)

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Experience managing audit requests

• Comfortable working across multiple systems and multi-currency environments

Nice to Have

• Exposure to financial services or FCA-regulated entities

• Familiarity with Oracle / Onestream & advanced Excel

• Experience coaching juniors or driving automation initiatives
