Eames are partnering with a PE-backed energy company based in the City of London to hire a Financial Reporting Manager.


Following recent funding from a well-known private equity firm, our client has exciting plans for growth over the coming years. This is a newly created role as part of the growth strategy.


The successful candidate will take the lead on management and financial reporting for the group, while also managing and overseeing a small team.


Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Lead the statutory accounts preparation in line with IFRS standards
  • Manage and develop the financial accounting team
  • Assist with management reporting, including board packs and financial analysis
  • Take full ownership of the monthly reporting process
  • Lead the audit process as the main point of contact at year-end
  • Own the group consolidation process for multiple entities
  • Own regulatory reporting requirements
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required


Person Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Strong technical understanding of financial controls under IFRS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage cross-functionally and drive change
