Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager required for a well-established, evolving business based in West London (Hybrid working)

£80,000 – £90,000 + bonus and benefits, depending on experience

We are supporting a reputable and forward-thinking organisation as they continue to strengthen their financial reporting capabilities and control environment. The business is well-established, operating across multiple legal entities, and undergoing positive transformation to enhance accuracy, governance, and performance across finance.

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the statutory and management reporting for a number of UK-based entities, ensuring financial integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. You’ll also act as a key technical accounting expert and play a central role in improving controls and delivering insight to senior stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically strong qualified accountant to take ownership in a business that values expertise, integrity, and collaboration.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 5+ years post-qualified experience
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience managing statutory reporting, audits, and financial control frameworks
• Strong technical accounting background with the ability to interpret and apply complex standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and within a matrix structure
• Advanced Excel and strong ERP system experience
• Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes for multiple UK entities
• Prepare statutory accounts and supporting documentation for audit
• Act as technical SME on accounting issues and updates to standards
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across P&L and cash flow
• Maintain a robust financial control environment and support internal audit activity
• Work with internal teams on continuous improvement of reporting processes
• Manage the intercompany settlement process and coordinate group recharges
• Provide support on dividend processes, payroll oversight, and ad hoc technical projects
• Collaborate with wider finance functions, including Tax, Treasury, and Group Reporting
