Fire Risk Assessor

Our client, based in West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for Fire Risk Assessor on 6-month temporary contract. Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the rate is negotiable per assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in fire risk assessments and hold an SP205 accreditation.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting around 10 fire risk assessments a day on various contracts for our client, including the Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing project
• Evaluating buildings e.g. small storey blocks of flats and advising on potential fire hazards
• Advising on measures to reduce risk of fires and identifying sources of fire danger
• Preparing emergency plans

Experience required:

• SP205 accreditation
• Fire Risk Assessment experience

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Must hold a full UK driving license
