🔥 Experienced Fire Safety Officer Wanted – Make a Real Impact 🔥

📍 Location: Covering the South of the UK – Prime locations around the M4 Corridor (Oxford, Romford, Swindon), inside or just outside the M25

🕒 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

💷 Salary: £40,000 per annum, rising to £42,000 upon sign-off to conduct fire risk assessments across the portfolio

🚗 Travel: Role-specific car provided | Hybrid/Flexible working available

We’re looking for a seasoned Fire Safety Officer ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in fire safety and risk management, and are passionate about protecting people and property, we want to hear from you.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in fire safety, particularly in healthcare, residential care, or similar regulated environments.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct detailed fire risk assessments across a diverse portfolio of up to 200 sites, including care homes, dental practices, and clinics.
• Perform comprehensive fire safety surveys (active and passive systems).
• Carry out fire door surveys and post-incident inspections.
• Provide expert guidance to site managers and ensure compliance with all fire safety legislation.
• Be the go-to authority for fire safety across the region.

✅ What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in fire safety roles, ideally within healthcare or residential sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of:
• The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
• Building Regulations – Approved Document B
• British Standards (BS 5839, BS 5266, BS 5306, BS 9251, BS 9999)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Full UK driving licence.

🎓 Preferred Qualifications

• Fire risk assessment qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, BTEC, or Fire Service College).
• Fire Safety Studies or Fire Engineering degree (advantageous).
• Membership with IFE, IFSM, or similar professional bodies.

We can support further training (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment) for the right candidate.
