An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join the club wide Performance Analysis Department at Norwich City Football Club.
The ideal candidate will be committed and hard-working, with a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with the 1st Team Coaching Team and Head Performance Analysis to ensure all Performance Analysis services within the First Team run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support and assist the set piece coach with all aspects of set play analysis and execution.
- Support the capture, analysis and sharing of the training analysis programme.
- Be proactive in the support of the opposition analysis process.
- Provide analytical and technical support of First Team match days (both home and away).
- Maintain and organise required reference / performance databases.
- Liaise & collaborate with other departments to continually develop and integrate our working processes.
- Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents.
- Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet the football clubs changing priorities.
Personal Skills
- Highly organised and able to structure/file work.
- Clear communicator to key stakeholders.
- Excellent visualisation and presentation skills.
- Strong experience of using performance analysis software’s.
- Strong understanding of both the tactical and technical aspects of football.
- Values and respects others, encouraging collaboration
- Able to respond positively and embrace change within a fast-paced environment.
Essential
- MSc Degree in a Performance Analysis-related subject.
- Minimum of 2 years working in elite football.
- UEFA C Coaching License.
- Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software’s, specifically Hudl Sportscode & Studio and Catapult Matchtracker.
Desirable
- UEFA B Coaching Licence.
- Drone Pilot License.
