Location: Cobham Depot
What you'll be doing
As a Fitter, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our fleet of specialist rail vehicles.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Performing maintenance on MPVs, RRVs, Stramm units, and modules in line with technical publications.
- Managing and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Producing clear verbal and written reports on faults, repairs, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
- Collaborating with your team to develop initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, reliability, and availability of our fleet.
- Driving road vehicles as required to support operations.
Who we're looking for
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- Strong resource management and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to meet and maintain the required medical standards for the role.
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk management, and COSHH awareness.
- Experience with PPPCs as required.
- Familiarity with stores processes and inventory management.

About Us
