Regional Facilities and Maintenance Operative
Location: Across Lancashire - covering all six Active Pathways services and Evermore Care Homes sites in Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Fulwood, and Lancaster
Contract Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week -
Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)
Salary:£28,000 per annum / £14.36 per hour
Overtime: Enhanced to £15.86 per hour once full-time hours have been met

About The Role
As the site lead for operational property management, you will work across our four mental health services and two care homes, ensuring all buildings and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of communal areas, residential rooms, and grounds
- Conducting operational Health & Safety and Fire Regulation checks
- Managing external contractors when needed
- Maintaining equipment such as heating, plumbing, security systems, laundry machines, and water systems
You will have multi-skilled maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and joinery work. Experience with central heating systems and similar environments is ideal. You’ll work independently and as part of a small Facilities and Maintenance team and occasionally travel to support our Yorkshire sites with prior agreement.
Key Requirements
- Multi-skilled maintenance and facilities management experience, specifically carpentry and joinery
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes
- Flexible, can-do attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

- The Hamptons (Bamber Bridge) - Inpatient rehabilitation for men with complex and long-term mental health conditions.
- Brook House (Chorley) - Supported living for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and/or Autism.
- South Grove House (Fulwood) - Specialist residential care for men with Autism and co-existing mental health or substance misuse needs.

- Astley View (Chorley) - Residential, dementia, and respite care for older adults.
