As a Flight Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, andsecure delivery of inflight catering services to aircraft. This role serves asthe key liaison between Newrest and airline staff, ensuring that all food,beverages, equipment, and special meal requests are handed over according toairline specifications and within tight operational timelines.
You will play acritical role in maintaining service quality, compliance with aviation safety,hygiene standards and supporting a seamless inflight experience for airlinepassengers and crew.
Hours: 40 hours –
Rotating Shift(with 3.00 starts and finish times up to 21.30
Per Hour: £15.21 per hour

Roles AndResponsibilities
- Be an ambassador forNewrest, maintaining the delivery of exceptional service and quality of allinflight catering requirements to some of the world’s leading airlines.
- Conduct daily tasks in accordance with Newrest’s, client and civilaviation authority compliance requirements.
- Plan, coordinate daily tasksbefore the start of each shift and work with internal colleagues to meet dailydeadlines.
- Ensure all in-flightmeals, special meals, beverages and equipment are assembled and loaded inaccordance with client flight loading specifications and inflight orders.
- Ensure all completedcarts/trollies are packed in line with airline standards and maintained atappropriate temperatures (hot/cold) prior to delivery.
- Sealall carts/trollies ready for dispatch, in line with CAA requirements.
- Effectivelyload airline food and catering supplies inside delivery trucks and at theAircraft.
- Guidecatering vehicles airside and ensure safety protocols are followed duringloading and offloading.
- Report anyissues such as delays, shortages, or damaged items to the unit management immediately.
- Utiliseeffective communications to minimise delays and resolve any issues withsustainable solutions.
Essential Skills
- Must have a full UKdriving license.
- Previousexperience in airline catering, logistics, or customer service preferred, butnot essential.
- Ateam player who can effectively manage conflicting priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment without sacrificing quality.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Physicallyfit and capable of working at heights, indoor fridge temperatures around 10degrees, all outdoor weather conditions and fast-paced environments.
- Liftand/or push up to 25kg.
- Operationalawareness with a good understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Healthand Safety and DFT requirements.
- Must be flexible towork shifts as operations run seven days a week requirement (including eveningsand public holidays), you will be required to extend shifts depending on airsideoperational requirements.
