Newrest islooking for a Flight Handler who is dedicated to our customer satisfaction,ensuring the flow of office procedures and support manager's by performingdaily administrative that include fielding inquiries and working with internaland external stakeholders.

Reports To: TransportShift / Department Manager

Location: Crawley,London Gatwick

Contract: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £15.21perhour

Shift: 5 On 3 Off, rolling roster

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

• Plan,coordinate daily workloads before the start of each shift and work withinternal colleagues to meet daily deadlines.
• Ensureall in-flight meals, special meals and products are assembled according toclient flight specifications.
• Placesecurity seals on all storage trolleys ready for dispatch.
• Deliverall items to aircraft and confirm menu briefing with crew to ensure flight isfully catered.
• Ensuresuite dressers dress cabins according to client’s specifications.
• Responsibleto make sure required airline standards are met regarding packing plans. (Full training and supporting documents will be given)
• Effectively load airline food and catering supplies inside deliverytrucks and at the Aircraft.
• Utilise effective communications to minimise delays and resolveproblems.
• Multitask and work under pressure.
• Lift and/or push approximately 50lbs.
• Assistwith other duties within various departments as and when required.
• Adhereto Unit safety measures in place.
• Adhereto Inflight services security compliance.
• Adhereto clean as you go standard.
• Interactwith colleagues and clients on site in a professional manner at all times.
• Complywith all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
• Ensureyou are aware and comply with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Ensureyou understand Newrest Non-negotiables and adhere to these at all times.
• Reportall accident/hazards/near misses, in your area in line with Newrestrequirements.
• Ensureyou understand, comply and abide by any new or amendments to policies,processes or working practices.
• Anyother duties as requested by your manager.
