Town: London Central, The City and Canary Wharf
Full time: 37.5 Hours per week
Shift times: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5.30pm
Fixed Term Contract: From around 8th September until mid/end December

It's that time of the year again and we’re looking for several Flu Nurses to join our Primary Care Team for this years Flu Campaign!

This is an exciting opportunity to join us here at HCA Healthcare UK to assist in the comprehensive delivery of the Flu immunisation for 2025. Our nurses always enjoy their time with us.
We are looking for skilled flu vaccine nurses with a broad understanding of vaccine safety procedures to administer vaccinations at our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for keeping a record of patients' vaccinations and the vaccines' proper storage.
This role will involve travel across HCA corporate client sites and client facilities throughout London. Travel expenses are covered.

What You'll Be Doing
- Assess the clients’ wellness and suitability for the vaccination in line with the prescribed PGD
- Administer intramuscular vaccination as required
- Monitoring patients' reactions to vaccinations during the administration of vaccines .
- Implementing and adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that flu vaccinations are stored correctly and securely.
- Maintaining the inventory of supplies needed to administer the vaccines.
What You’ll Bring
- Completed degree in Nursing.
- NMC Registration
- Knowledge of sharps management, vaccinations, safety procedures, and storage protocols
- Previous nursing experience is essential either NHS or private sector
- Patience and compassion for patients with physical, mental, and emotional issues.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate.
