About The Role-

Nestled within 3,500 acres of breathtaking organic farmland in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Club by Bamford offers members a truly immersive 360º wellness experience — where fitness, holistic well-being, and nature meets in perfect harmony.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Food and Beverage Manager to join our world-class team. You will be the heartbeat of our daily operations, the first smile our members see, the steady hand behind our service excellence, and leading the team by example by setting the standard for exceptional service.

SALARY: £35000 per annum plus tronc

HOURS: Full time 40 hours - Weekends included

Responsibilities

  • Manage ordering, stock rotation, menu changes, and the introduction of new products.
  • Resolve team issues, problems, and concerns in a stress-free, professional manner.
  • Support, train, and motivate the F&B Supervisor to deliver aligned F&B vision and standards across the team.
  • Create efficient and well-thought-out rotas, ensuring appropriate cover and support during team holidays.
  • Manage holiday requests to prevent short-staffing.
  • Oversee the hiring process for new team members, including onboarding, training, and probation reviews (in collaboration with the F&B Supervisor).
  • Ensure all checklists are accurately completed during opening and closing procedures.
  • Promote and drive positive food safety standards through training and building a strong food safety culture.
  • Communicate key updates, feedback, and issues to the Head of Operations during regular 1:1 meetings.

  • Proven experience in a managerial Food & Beverage role.
  • Confident leadership with the ability to foster collaboration and a positive team environment.
  • Positive and proactive approach to team management and development.
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to support growth and improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a dynamic, changeable environment.
  • Capable of supporting, teaching, and delegating effectively to drive team performance and engagement.
