The opportunity
As an Assistant Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff
- Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets
- Foster enduring client relationships
- Develop and inspire our smarter people plan
- Support the forensic accounting team on a wide range of cases including investigations, commercial disputes, loss of profits claims and some contentious and non-contentious valuation work
- Undertaking detailed analysis
- Modelling business valuations or losses suffered by businesses
- Drafting short reports or sections of larger reports under the guidance of the team
- Supporting business development activities and starting to build lawyer relationships
- May also be required to support with client management (i.e., conflict checks, checklists and setting up clients) and updating pipeline opportunities
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA accountant, with experience in Forensic Accounting
- Strong report writing skills, analytical skills (high degree of competence in Excel)
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels and establish credibility with colleagues and clients
- Self-starter and self-motivated, with good attention to detail
