Specifically, this role is within the Forensic Accounting and Valuations team with a particular focus on litigation / disputes.
The role
As a Assistant Manager / Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Take ownership and management of a small number of projects simultaneously;
- Liaise directly with clients with confidence;
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across multiple service lines;
- Draft expert or advisory reports;
- Prepare models for loss of profit calculations and business and share valuations;
- Perform business development activities to promote the firm as well as individual profile.
Day to day duties include
- Obtaining and analysing financial information;
- Research into companies, businesses and industry sectors for business valuation purposes;
- Preparation, in part of or as whole, of expert reports or other written reports for use in legal proceedings or for advice to solicitors or clients;
- Liaise with solicitors, barristers and clients as a normal part of a litigation support case;
- Working with colleagues from different departments and teams (audit, tax, technical accounting and corporate finance);
- Participate in marketing events to broaden the firm’s presence as well as individual profile; and
- Support Partners, Directors and Senior Managers as needed.
Requirements
- Hold a recognised accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CA;
- Have between 2 to 4 years PQE within Forensic Accounting;
- Strong communication skills both for internal and external interaction;
- Analytical mindset with good attention to detail;
- Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Strong management and organisational skills to be support multiple projects simultaneously; and
- Team player who enjoys collaborating.
