Senior Forward Deployed Data Scientist | Series B Hospitality Tech | London

A fast-growing, Kinnevik-backed Series B is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Data Scientist to own the technical side of their enterprise client function.

The platform uses ML for forecasting, intelligent scheduling and inventory management across large hospitality chains. Think Palantir model: embedded with enterprise operators, diagnosing model performance in the field, acting as the credible data science voice with C-suite and Operations Directors. Not pre-sales, not pure build. You own delivery end-to-end and feed structured insight directly back into the ML roadmap.

The role

• Own technical delivery within enterprise rollouts across multi-site chains
• Diagnose and explain model underperformance to senior non-technical stakeholders
• Convert pilots into full contracts through technical credibility and commercial instinct
• Build standardised playbooks and feedback loops back into the product
• 3 days per week on-site with London-based clients

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role: forward deployed, consulting or hybrid DS
• Strong applied ML understanding: forecasting, time series, recommendation models
• Advanced SQL and Python
• Proven ability to hold senior enterprise rooms independently

Compensation

• £120,000 to £140,000 base
• Meaningful equity at Series B
• 35 days holiday, private health, £1k L&D budget
