Salary: Starting Salary is £49,764 rising to £52,805 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

By managing the recruitment of foster carers and overseeing assessments, you will ensure that every child finds a loving home.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead with Purpose: Manage the recruitment process for foster carers, ensuring that every step is handled with care and efficiency.
• Support and Inspire: Oversee the Fostering Support Team, providing guidance and motivation to ensure the best outcomes for children and carers alike.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Foster For East Midlands and the D2N2 recruitment hub to drive applications and enhance our recruitment efforts.
• Ensure Excellence: Maintain oversight of all recruitment activities, ensuring timely progression of events and applications.
• Supervise with Care: Manage and support supervising social workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and dedication to service users.

About You

We are looking for someone who is not just qualified, but truly passionate about making a difference:

• You will hold a Social Work qualification and are registered with Social Work England.
• You have a deep understanding of fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and recruitment and marketing activities.
• Your leadership and motivational skills are second to none, and you excel in promoting good communication and continuous improvement.
• You have detailed knowledge of National Standards and Fostering Regulations 2011, and the Children’s Act 2002, and can develop and implement Quality Assurance Systems.

Essential Requirements

• Proficiency in English, as required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
• A DBS enhanced check for regulated activity
• Participation in the on-call rota
