The Opportunity:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will support key financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, contributing to the delivery of accurate insights and actionable recommendations that inform business strategy and enhance financial performance.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Creating and running financial reports, ensuring robust testing of new reports, analytics and information.
  • Reconciling and validating data sets and information for partner financial reports.
  • Supporting the financial analysis on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to provide data driven insights to aid decision making across a wide range of financial outcomes.
  • Researching and collating information for budget purposes, including compiling prior year analysis for comparative purposes.
  • Contributing towards continuous improvement opportunities, including streamlining and documenting simple reporting tasks for transition to our shared service.

This is a full-time, 12 month FTC role based in either our Glasgow or London office with hybrid working.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Accounting or finance background with budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive and organised working style and the ability to manage priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Experience using financial and management information systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling).
