Your role
A commercially focused finance role reporting directly to the FP&A Finance Manager and based in Swindon. You will act as a key business partner to senior commercial stakeholders across the organization. Your primary focus will be on providing financial insight and challenge around the Cost to Acquire customers across all product lines enabling informed decision-making and long term value creation. This role is a critical conduit between UK, Regional and US Group finance teams, responsible for delivering accurate monthly results, quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting process.
What You'll Be Doing
What you will be doing:
- Lead the consolidation and delivery of the Net Sales Expense annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide detailed monthly financial reporting commentary including variance analysis vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
- Drive visibility through Product line P&L Reporting incl revenue, expenses and KPIs.
- Delivery insight into the Cost to Acquire, identifying key trends and opportunities to improve the customer lifetime value
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities that could impact in year financial delivery and long term growth.
- Partner with commercial leaders to challenge assumptions, support strategic investment decisions, and track delivery of key initiatives.
- Supporting the integration of Corpay acquisitions into core reporting systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Contribute to the review and prioritization of reinvestment opportunities, including benefits tracking and value realization.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to enable agile and informed business decisions.
- Collaborate on finance transformation projects to improve the automation and digitalization of performance reporting, including transitioning from Excel-based models to a data warehouse solution.
Projects
There are a number of change projects in progress involving support from this role:
- Deep dive into Customer Profitability and Cost to Acquire by product line.
- Support launch of Corpay Complete, including tracking investment spend and developing a sustainable target operating model.
- Reporting of Pay by Phone and Corpay Complete cross-sell initiatives.
- Leverage the Planful group planning system to automate and streamline reporting.
- Lead improvements in reporting processes through implementation of a digital Data Warehouse.
What We Need
- Strong experience in a business partnering or FP&A role within a complex, multi-currency environment.
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Experience working with ERP and reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX, Planful).
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a benefit
