FP&A Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Finance leader for an exciting opportunity based in Hertfordshire, with excellent links into London. This high-profile role will play a critical part in driving business performance, optimising costs, and shaping strategic priorities across key operational areas. The role requires a strong combination of financial expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership capability to drive efficiency and deliver sustainable results.

What You Will Do

You will lead the financial strategy with full ownership of forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, underpinned by the development of robust and efficient financial processes.

Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you will ensure performance aligns with a value-driven operating model while providing high-quality scenario analysis and commercial financial guidance.

You will have regular exposure to the executive leadership team and Board, preparing and presenting board-level papers on group strategy, supported by clear, compelling data and insight.

You will also play a key role in the finance workstream for a major technology and transformation programme, driving digital innovation and embedding new systems and tools that enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and deliver strong long-term returns.

Who We’re Looking For (In brief)

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience within a Group or Central FP&A function.
• Strong commercial awareness and business judgement.
• Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence at senior levels.
