What You’ll Do
The Group Entities Internal Fraud Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of Vodafone’s internal fraud strategy across Vodafone Group Entities. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating internal fraud risks within business processes, products, and services, in alignment with the Internal Fraud Management Framework and Vodafone Fraud Policy
- Conduct Fraud Risk Assessments (FRAs) on processes within Group Entities:
- Develop and maintain a FRA plan by identifying processes vulnerable to fraud and agreeing on priorities with business owners
- Execute detailed FRAs in line with the FRA plan. These assessments must comply with policy requirements and provide practical, actionable recommendations to help the business mitigate fraud risks
- Track and monitor all FRA actions through to completion or to an agreed level of closure, ensuring residual risk remains within tolerance
- Assess fraud risks in new products and services:
- Evaluate fraud vulnerabilities in new offerings, ensuring identified gaps are addressed before launch, and that ongoing fraud monitoring is in place as needed
- Deliver fraud awareness and training initiatives across Group Entities
- Investigate fraud incidents impacting Group Entities
- Support the Investigations Team on Group Entities-related cases as required
- Support the wider Group Corporate Security Team on projects aligned with the Fraud Strategy and Policy
- Pursue continuous professional development to ensure fraud knowledge remains current and is effectively applied
Who You Are
- Relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, compliance, or related assurance functions involving control evaluation and vulnerability identification
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and demonstrate influencing and negotiation capabilities
- Experience in designing and/or delivering training, awareness initiatives, or internal communications related to business risks
- Analytical mindset with the ability to critically assess information, identify root causes, and develop logical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-growth, and uncertain environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Broad understanding of mobile and fixed telephony networks and associated services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Prior experience in fraud risk management (e.g., conducting FRAs, developing anti-fraud controls, or contributing to fraud prevention strategies) is desirable
- Familiarity with Vodafone’s business model, products, and services is a plus
