Freelance Accountant – Workday Financials

Introduction to the Position

Our client, an established European business, is preparing for a Workday Financials go-live over the next three months. They are seeking a skilled Freelance Accountant with hands-on experience in Workday Financials to support the system rollout. This role will involve training the London accounting team, providing practical guidance on using the new system, and performing day-to-day accounting tasks in Workday Financials.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in a major ERP implementation while working in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the rollout of Workday Financials across the London accounting team
• Train and guide finance team members on using Workday Financials effectively
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks within Workday Financials
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements related to Workday Financials

Desired Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Workday Financials in an accounting or finance role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and local GAAP
• Experience training or mentoring accounting teams on ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-focused environment
