Role Description

This role for a Freelance Interpreter has both Face-to-Face and Remote Opportunities based in Hampshire. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate and fluent language Interpreting services in various domains, including legal, healthcare and council sectors. The role involves ensuring accurate and clear communication between parties who speak different languages. The Interpreter must be adaptable and capable of working in diverse environments to bridge communication gaps effectively.

Desired Languages

• Portuguese (Brazilian or European)
• Ukrainian
• German
• Latvian
• Vietnamese
• Kurdish Sorani
• Romanian
• Turkish
• Malayalam

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least two languages, including English
• Strong interpreting skills in both consecutive and simultaneous modes
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and speaking skills
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology in fields such as Legal, Healthcare or Council
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Availability to work in, and around the Hampshire area
• Relevant certifications or accreditation in Interpreting would be beneficial
• Previous experience in interpreting roles is a plus
