Front Office Support Engineer
My Financial Services Client are currently looking for a Front Office Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Champion ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US
- Perform regional start of day health checks
- Provide daily application support and troubleshooting with proprietary tools
- An application support focus on back-office flows, particularly around Regulatory and Transaction Reporting support
- Engage daily with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
- Utilise incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
- Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
- Support product testing, project work and Identify possible platform improvements
Key Experience required:
- Strong hands on support experience of a trading platform within a financial institution
- Equities / Algorithmic Trading Knowledge e.g. Industry standard algorithms (VWAP, TWAP, IS, POV etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Successful track history in a Linux Environment.
- Automation and scripting experience
